News To Lift a Gray Day

18 June 2011 14:37
Young full back David Gray has been given the green light to restart training with the physio after being out since breaking a leg against Norwich back in March. Preston were losing defenders left, right and centre towards the back end of the season and that included David Gray who unfortunately broke his leg in the dying minutes in the match at Carrow Road. Gray is to continue rehabilitation over the next six weeks at which point, all being well, he can rejoin the first team. He should be ready for first team action towards the end of September. Conor McGlaughlin is already back in training with the youngsters who returned to training this week ahead of the full first team squad at the end of the month. He should have no problem in being fit for the start of the season.
