Peterborough defender Craig Morgan has been reunited with former manager Darren Ferguson after joining Preston for a fee in the region of £400,000. The Welsh international, who only had one-year left on his current contract with Posh, originally joined the club on a free transfer from MK Dons before going on to become a key member of the defence at London Road. Peterborough director of football Barry Fry told his club's official website: "We signed Craig on a free transfer from MK Dons and I would like to thank him for his service during his time with us. He contributed greatly to the back-to-back promotions. "The £400,000, as well as the possibility of another £250,000 if Preston are successful is a good deal and not only that we have a 25% sell-on clause if Preston do sell him in the future. "If you put that alongside the Scott Rendell deal which was for £125,000, then I think we have had a pretty good week."
