Preston face QPR trailing Burnley - who play Bristol City - by two points, while they are three points adrift of Cardiff who travel to Sheffield Wednesday. And the former Liverpool striker believes nerves may get to Preston's rivals for the final two play-off places. "All we can do is put pressure on them and hope that they slip up," he told the Mirror. "If we get a good start their fans will be aware of our score and so will their staff so hopefully we can get the first goal of the three matches. "It's not in our hands but we're playing some good football and we're keen to do our part of the bargain."
