McKenna wants forward-thinking PNE

North End will probably need to win at Birmingham and at home to QPR on the final day to stand any hope of finishing in the Championship play-off zone. They must also hope the teams above them - Swansea, Reading and Burnley - slip up but the manner of their 6-0 demolition of Cardiff on Saturday has left McKenna in buoyant mood. He said: "We are still relying on people slipping up but if we go into the next two games with the same attitude and get similar results we've got to be there or thereabouts. "I know there are only two games left but there are lot of points to play for with the top teams playing each other. "Draws are no good for us so we might as well go for it."
