Lonergan faith in Brown

Preston goalkeeper Andy Lonergan is confident that new boss Phil Brown can steer the club out of relegation danger. North End earned a 1-1 draw at home to Leicester on Saturday in Brown's first league game in charge. The Deepdale outfit remain seven points adrift of safety in the npower Championship and lie bottom of the table, yet Lonergan has faith in Brown's abilities. "He is teaching us how to play without the ball if that makes sense, how to stop the opposition playing," said Lonergan. "It's been done before, so I think we can definitely stay up."
