The game has been penned in for Saturday 13 July at Deepdalw with a kick offf time of 3.00pm. It will be Liverpool's first pre-season game before they jet off on tour.
The match had been rumoured for a while but nothing confirmed until today. A big crowd will be expected in what appears to be Preston's only home game during the pre-season fixtures.
