Preston kept up their unbeaten pre-season run after earning their second draw inside three days north of the border. The Whites fell behind again within a minute after Dayton struck capitalising on some early nerves at the back for Preston. Neil Mellor scored his first goal since returning from his loan spell at Sheff Wed in the 49th minute. Trialist Alex Cooper featured at left back whilst Mellor, Carlisle and Devine played the full ninety minutes. Preston now head to Kendal on Wednesday evening for their next match.
