Sources have linked Preston with a move for former player Kevin KIlbane during the January transfer window. The Preston lad left his hometown club over a decade ago. The 33 year old is currently at Hull but has played in the top flight as well as representing Ireland at international level. KIlbane has featured for West Brom, Sunderland, Everton and Wigan but now appears to be surplus to requirements at Hull as Pearson looks to build a younger looking side. Kilbane can play on the left side of midfield or at left back and will add experience to a youthful Preston squad.
