Khumalo set for Preston bow

Preston boss Phil Brown could hand a debut to new signing Bongani Khumalo when Swansea visit Deepdale.

North End signed the South Africa international for the rest of the season shortly before the emergency loan window closed. Khumalo joined Tottenham in January for £1.5million from Supersport United following a successful spell on trial but has yet to play for Harry Redknapp's side.

His arrival boosts Brown`s relegation battlers, but the Lilywhites boss will check on the fitness of Sean St Ledger. The centre-back has undergone treatment on the knee ligament injury he suffered during training with the Republic of Ireland.

Preston are aiming to record their third successive win after victories over Scunthorpe and Coventry in their previous two outings.
