Shrewsbury Town have made their second goalkeeping signing in the space of 48 hours by bringing in Chris Neal from Preston North End.The Hertfordshire-born keeper, 23, made just one substitute appearance in five seasons at Deepdale. But he has had three spells on loan, one of them with Shrewsbury for then boss Gary Peters in September 2006, making one appearance in the JP Trophy. Town also signed Andreas Arestidou, 19, on a one-year deal from Blackburn. The two will now be competing with Glyn Garner as Town's number one. Shrewsbury have so far made three signings this summer, their two new keepers as well as defender Dean Holden. But they were dealt a blow on Thursday when out-of-contract skipper Ben Davies signed for Notts County on a three-year deal.
