Jones Joins Baggies
Billy Jones has signed for West Brom as his contract with Preston expired and he did not wish to take up the option of playing in League One. The right back who has also played on the left, in the centre and also in midfield has signed for the West Midlands club although their were a number of clubs chasing the player. Jones had stated his intention to leave if Preston were relegated despite being made captain by Brown towards the end of the season. It was thought that he would join a Championship side but it seems the 24 year old has had a better off to play in the top flight.
