The midfielder will face his old club for the first time since swapping Deepdale for the City Ground in a £750,000 transfer in July on Saturday.[LNB]"Seeing Paul McKenna on the other side will be strange for all of us but we are looking forward to seeing him," Irvine told the Lancashire Evening Post. "I hope he gets a good reception because he was a terrific player for Preston for many years and a great lad as well.[LNB]"He conducted himself absolutely brilliantly in the lead up to his transfer to Forest in the summer. It went on for quite a long time and we turned down several offers.[LNB]"But at no point did Paul cause problems, he accepted there was a certain amount of money that Forest would have to pay before he was allowed to go from here.[LNB]"Unfortunately for us Forest came up with that amount of money and he went. It was impossible for us to prevent McKenna going and earning himself a lot more money in the latter part of his career."[LNB][LNB]
