Iron plan pitch inspection
Scunthorpe are to hold a pitch inspection on Friday morning to assess whether their Boxing Day clash with Preston can go ahead.
Glanford Park has been affected by the cold snap and the Iron's recent home match with Nottingham Forest was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
A decision will be made by a Football League referee as to whether the game can go ahead.
