Injured Linganzi staying at Preston

Preston have insisted that on-loan Blackburn midfielder Amine Linganzi will stay at Deepdale until the end of the season despite his injury. The Frenchman returned to his parent club after hobbling off on his debut against Leicester a fortnight ago with a groin injury. However, he is expected to be back in action in four weeks and manager Phil Brown said: "Amine is currently undergoing his rehabilitation with the Blackburn Rovers physios and we anticipate that he could be back with the squad in around one month. "It was unfortunate that Amine went off 45 minutes into his debut, but I am keen to keep him at Deepdale and I see him as an important player for the club this season."
