North End clocked up their second pre-season win in a matter of days as they comfortably beat AFC Wimbledon 4-1.

It was Preston's first match against AFC Wimbledon and Westley took his team south which is almost unprecedented for a Preston pre-season match.

The team turned out a good performance which impressed themanager as they sank in four goals which will help alleviate fears that Preston have no teeth in attack.

Sodje who is on trial bagged two of the goals whilst the other two came from Byrom who was coming back from a short spell ont he sidelines after a minor knock earlier in pre-season.

The Whites will now face their biggest test at home this Saturday to Championship side Leeds.
