Hume Denies Involvement

Ian Hume has denies that he was one of the four Preston players who allegedly leaked information to Sheffield Wednesday on the eve of the game at Hillsborough.

No one has been identified as one of the alleged four to have leaked information but Hume confirmed via his Twitter account that he was no part of any plot to leak information to the opposition prior to the game.

Hume has stated that he is surprised by the allegations and believed the dressing room to be together although he did epress disappointment at Tuesday night's performance. He clarified that he did not know anyone at the club who would be involved in such an incident.

It has been 24 hours since the allegations were first raised but still the club and Westley have yet to confirm who the four Preston staff are who gave their opponents pre-match information in respect of tactics and formation.
