Preston manager Darren Ferguson will still have Iain Hume at his disposal for the trip to Leicester. Hume will stay with North End for the full 93 days of his emergency loan after agreeing a deal with his parent club Barnsley who have secured the services of striker Paul Hayes in return. Barry Nicholson returned to reserve duty in midweek after a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a broken leg but the game at the Walkers Stadium is thought to come too soon for the midfielder. Josh King could return if he recovers from a twisted ankle while Wayne Brown and Matt James are likely to keep their places after returning to the starting line-up following injuries. Paul Parry impressed in the reserves and is pushing for a start against the Foxes.
