Ian Holloway's Tangerines have made a surprise challenge among the promotion hopefuls thanks to an excellent home record.[LNB]Leaders Newcastle are the only other side in the division still unbeaten on their own turf.[LNB]And Holloway urged clear thinking in the derby scrap.[LNB]"This is a game of football where the intensity of the tackles and the work-rate of both teams will go up a notch, but we just need to play with our heads and not our hearts," Holloway told the club's website.[LNB]"Preston are a side that have always been up and around the play-offs for as long as I can remember.[LNB]"We're not used to being up there in this division at the moment, so it's up to us to continue what we're doing and not get carried away with it.[LNB]"We currently have a great record at home this season that they could take from us and I don't want to relinquish it easily."[LNB]Preston striker Chris Brown scored twice in an away victory in the corresponding fixture last year and is ready to put in the kind of battling performance against Newcastle last time out when his bloodied head was bandaged.[LNB]"We were saying the other day that they will be favourites for this one which will be the first time for a while," Brown told pne.co.uk.[LNB]"We have shown the other night that we are back to playing well again so we will see how it goes."[LNB]Preston have been boosted by the introduction of Michael Tonge, on loan from Stoke, who made his debut in the 1-0 loss to Newcastle.[LNB]"I thought Tonge was outstanding," said Brown.[LNB]"The way he was running at them with the ball, driving at their defence, it offers something different. Someone to take the ball in tight situations and calm the game down."[LNB][LNB] Blackpool v Preston. Click here to bet.
