Hearts Finally Sign Elliott
It has now been officially confirmed that Stephen Elliott has signed for Hearts after the rumours of the past few days. The rumours started last Tuesday evening when Elliott was left out of the reserve side that played Northwich Victoria. He then headed up to Edinburgh to speak with Hearts before the weekend. Elliott then left Preston by mutual consent on Friday evening before watching Hearts play a pre-season friendly on Saturday. Jim Jeffries confirmed a deal would be done this week and it is now accurate that Elliott has taken a severe drop in wages after putting pen to paper on a two year deal for the Scottish Premier League outfit.
