Healy Begs For Return

David Healy has been trainign with the Preston squad this week with a hope of convincing Graham Westley of a move.

The former Preston striker has pleaded with fans in today's LEP that he is a reformed character and apologised for his previous emotional behaviour shown towards the club.

The striker has had a number of clubs over the past few years as his career has slid down the rungs. He is presently at Rangers although has failed to get first team action in recent times.

Westley will have to make a decision as it appears that Sodje is set to sign which would leave only one space on the roster for a striker with Trundle, Beardsley, King and Byrom already at the club.

It is known that preston want to bring Scott Beavon to the club from Wycombe but so far all offers for the striker have been rejected and Westley may turn to Healy for an alternative.
