Hayes To Return To Scunthorpe

15 December 2010 13:53
Paul Hayes who has failed to settle at Prestton and is currently on loan at Barnsley is set to make a return to former club Scunthorpe in the New Year. Hayes, who came on a free transfer from Scunthorpe in the close season has scored one goal for the Whites in his time at the club. His family have had a bad time movign across the Pennines included unreported incidents of bullying against Hayes's son. Preston allowed Hayes to return to Yorkshire in a swap loan deal for Ian Hume as Hayes went to Barnsley. The loan deal expires at the turn of the year and Barnsley do not wish to sign him on a permanent deal. Scunthorpe have expressed an interest in re-signing Hayes which should be done if the two sides can agree a fee over the transfer.
