Good Friday Draws

22 April 2011 22:45
Preston could only watch as all three sides directly above them were in action on Good Friday but Phil Brown will be relieved that none of the trio managed to break away from North End. Palace visited Doncaster where both sides played out a goalless draw which did nothing to help either sides worries going into the final two weeks of the season. Doncaster are now seven points ahead of North End having played a game more whilst Palace are now five points ahead of the Whites. Scunthorpe who are directly above North End managed a one all draw at rejuvenated Coventry. Scunthorpe now sit two points above North End and three points from Palace. All eyes now turn to Preston's match away at Millwall where Brown will be looking for three points which would see them get an enormous boost towards safety.
