Gardner Turns Down West Ham
Ricardo Gardner who was coveted by Phil Brown has turned down a move to West Ham despite the full back being available on a free transfer. The ex-Jamaican international impressed Phil Brown during his loan spell and Preston were denied when they tried to seek an extension to that deal. Gardner is now out of contract and available on a free transfer. He has had talks with West Ham where he was set to sign but has now turned round and specified his wish to fight for his place at Bolton despite hardly featuring last season.
