The frontman has appeared for Preston before on loan back in 2007 when he stayed for several months. An attempt to sign Galagher was unsuccessful and the forward moved on.
He can play up top but can also play just behind the front tow. He is a vert deft player who will also add to the team in terms of taking set pieces. Gallagher joins until 2 January 2014.
