First Away Day Defeat

01 October 2011 17:37
Preston's winning run came to a crushing end as they went down to bottom of the table Leyton Orient who had lost five straight home games until today.

The Whites got off to a perfect start with Paul Coutts scoring the opener within two minutes of the start but Preston were ten stunned by a SEan Cox double with the seond on the stroke of half time.

Preston could not find a way back into the match and tiredness caught up with them with several long trips to London and beyond over the past month. It was not a good start to October which will be a tricky month for North End as they slip to third falling five points behind leaders Charlton with a game in hand.
