Ferguson to make King decision

Preston boss Darren Ferguson will decide in the next few days whether or not to extend Josh King's loan. The 18-year-old Manchester United striker is sidelined because of an ankle injury and his three-month loan expires at the end of next week. Yet King will be out beyond then and Ferguson has explored the possibility of bringing in another player on loan to strengthen the forward line. He told the Lancashire Evening Post: "At the moment we're thinking another two or three weeks out for Josh. "That takes him past the end of his loan so I have to decide what to do when that time comes. "We'll have to see how the injury is, what progress the boy makes, and take it from there. Bringing in another loan is something I might have to give consideration to."
