Preston boss Darren Ferguson has backed Manchester United youngster Josh King to prove a resounding success during his spell at Deepdale.
The 18-year-old is on a three-month loan deal with the npower Championship outfit in a bid to play regular first-team football.
He got off the mark in Tuesday's thumping 5-0 win against Stockport in the Carling Cup and Ferguson reckons there is much more to come from the Norwegian.
He said: "He is big enough for the Championship and for young strikers that can be difficult - he is a lovely lad who puts a shift in.
"He has a lot of good attributes - so we have got him for three months and we will see how it goes. He's here to help us and he gives us something we haven't got, which is pure pace."
