Ferguson tipping Hume for success
Preston boss Darren Ferguson is convinced that Iain Hume will prove a success at Deepdale as he prepares to join the club on loan.
The Canada international is set to join North End on Friday on a 93-day loan with a view to signing permanently in January.
Hume suffered a fractured skull two years ago but has since returned to action and will prove misfiring North End with a significant boost, according to Ferguson.
Ferguson said: "When you look at what happened to him with the fractured skull and what has happened since, it shows the lad's character.
"A lot of people would have given up as it was an horrendous injury.
"I think he needs a fresh challenge and he'll get that here."
