Ferguson sweating over Brown

Preston manager Darren Ferguson could be without Wayne Brown for the clash with Leeds due to a hamstring injury sustained in the 2-1 win over Coventry on Saturday. Callum Davidson, who recently overcame a calf strain, returned to the starting line-up at the Ricoh Arena and is expected to retain his place after coming through the encounter unscathed. On-loan Manchester United pair Matt James and Josh King will again miss out as they continue to struggle with respective ankle injuries, although the latter could return for the game against Reading on Saturday. North End ended a five-match losing streak to secure just their second win of the season against the Sky Blues and move off the foot of the npower Championship table.
