North End surrendered vital ground in the race for a play-off spot on Tuesday when letting a two-goal lead slip to draw 2-2 at home to Sheffield Wednesday.[LNB]Victory would have moved Ferguson's men into the top half of the table and closer to the top six, but the Deepdale boss is not giving up hope.[LNB]"There is a small difference between mid-table and being successful," said Ferguson ahead of Saturday's trip to The Hawthorns.[LNB]"We could have got to 50 points and would have been in the top half and I think that's where we should be at least. Then you never know what can happen.[LNB]"But now we have two tough away games and we have to be ready for those."[LNB][LNB]
