Ferguson: I take responsibility
Preston boss Darren Ferguson admitted he had to take full responsibility after his side's woeful campaign continued with a 3-1 home defeat to Middlesbrough.
North End head into 2011 rock-bottom of the npower Championship and Ferguson accepts the buck stops with him.
Yet he insists he can cope with the pressure and said: "I cope okay with the pressure - I get on with it.
"It is the most difficult period I've gone through as manager and it has been a very difficult year - we haven't done nearly as well as I through we could when I came through the door.
"As manager I do have to take responsibility."
