Ferguson Expects Lonergan To Stay
Preston boss Darren Ferguson has spoken out after recent speculation linking keeper Andy Lonergan to a move away from Deepdale. Many sources have put two and two together and come up with the fact that LOnergan would be leaving the club with Preston looking to recoup money for saleable assets and to get rid of high earners off the wage bill. Lonergan certainly fits that bill being a high earner and with certain clubs interested with West Brom declaring their interest but Ferguson has revealed that Lonergan should be starting the season as a Preston player.
