Ferguson aims for joy of six

Preston boss Darren Ferguson has set his side a target of a maximum six-point haul from this week`s home matches against Scunthorpe and Crystal Palace. North End`s relegation fears were reawakened after they slipped to a 3-0 defeat at Derby on Saturday, leaving them just one place above the drop zone. Ferguson says they must make home advantage pay against the Iron on Tuesday and then Palace on Saturday. "It is important we get six points from our two home games and it isn't going to be easy," said Ferguson. "I know what I have got in that dressing room - it is a good group of players but for whatever reason we are giving ourselves a mountain to climb at times."
