Fergie: Run can go on

Preston boss Darren Ferguson sees no reason why his side cannot continue their impressive run of form at Derby this weekend. North End lost six out of their opening seven matches and looked destined for a fight with relegation. And despite collecting seven points from their last three games, they still lie only two places above the drop zone. Ferguson said: "At the moment our league position isn't brilliant, it's better than it was, but could be a hell of a lot better. "There are two ways of looking at it, we are two points above the bottom three but only six behind the play-offs. "The aim after the international break is to put another good run together which can help us climb the table."
