Everton Set To Make Move For Jones

28 April 2011 13:43
The national press are reporting that Everton are set to make a move for out of contract Billy Jones in the summer to stregthen their squad for next campaign. Phil Brown is resigned to losing Jones after he refused to sign a new deal in January saying that he would wait until the end of the season and if the Whites went down he would leave the club. Jones was made captain by Brown but noe relegation has been confirmed he will be looking to tie up a deal and it appears Everton may be his best option as they have little money to spend and could use Jones to bloster their options. The full back was watched by David Moyes at Monday's game.
