Everton Favourites For Lonergan
Andy Lonergan failed to agree personal terms with Leeds earlier in the week and the deal is now dead in the water although it seems Everton are about to step up their interest. Lonergan was always linked with a move to Merseyside but went to Leeds earlier in the week for talks as a fee had been agreed. Unsurprisingly he failed to agree personal terms which has been a stumbling block for various players leaving Deepdale. No formal bid has been made by Everton but the fee should not be a problem and the Whites are now just waiting for a formal approach from Everton for the keeper.
