This will be the first time since 1999 when PNE last played a non-league club when the Lilywhites won at Enfield 2-0 in the FA Cup Second Round replay after a 0-0 draw at Deepdale.
This will be the fith match between the clubs but the first as a cup tie.
The previous four matches came in Division Three in the 1994/95 and 1995/96 seasons. Preston have a record of one won and lost three against Barnet.
