Preston boss Darren Ferguson has bolstered his rock-bottom side with the acquisition of two new signings ahead of the visit of Millwall. North End have signed defender Leon Cort from npower Championship rivals Burnley on an emergency loan until December 31. Ferguson has also brought rookie Manchester United striker Joshua King back to Deepdale on a youth loan until January 4. King's previous loan spell was cut short after suffering an ankle injury and he could miss out this weekend as he is yet to regain full fitness. Skipper Callum Davidson and Scotland U21 international Paul Coutts remain sidelined by injury but midfielder Barry Nicholson is expected to return to the squad after missing out with illness last week. In a further boost, winger Keith Treacy is available again after suspension.
