Door Ajar For Outgoings

Pter Risdale has confirmed that there has been some movement with regards to the players who are stil ltraining outside of the first team squad.

It now appears that Preston have made their bed in that the players who were sent to East Lancashire have not been reintegrated into the first team squad as suggested and are now set to move on if possible.

Preston confirmed that they turned down a bid from a Championship club for Danny Mayor and froma  League One club for Adam Barton. Risdale said both offers did not meet Preston's asking price. Some fans may see this as a little bizarre given the situation that Preston just want the players off the books as soon as possible.

A club have also come in for the services of Iain Hume on a loan deal but that too was turned down by Preston on the reasonable basis that the deal meant the Whites still had to stump up for the majority of his contract which is what they do not want or need.

Daley has also moved a step close to the exit door as he has joined St Johnstone on trial and featured for them at teh weekend. If the Scottish side want to sign Daley permanently then Risdale has agreed that Daley's contract can be cancelled.
