Darren Ferguson continued the trend of taking players from his father after Ritchie De Laet joined Preston on a loan deal. De Laet is thought to be the first of three loan targets that potentially could join this week. The defender was drafted in after Davidson and St Ledger picked up injuries whilst Brown has only been half fit all season. The length of the loan is yet to be finalised but the defender goes straight into the squad for Saturday's game away at QPR. It is thought that Michael Tonge and Danny Pugh are Ferguson's other targets.
