Davies Drops To Evens
The odds on Preston re-appointing former boss Billy Davies as their next permanent manager have dropped significantly due to speculation around the Deepdale hot seat. As previously reported some bookies had suspended betting but Davies is being offered as evens for the job at some bookies having come down from 20-1. THis does not mean that Davies will be appointed in what would be a shock nove but does show that many people have backed him heavily to return to Deepdale. No official comment has been made by either club with Davies still in employment at Nottingham Forest although the rumours are gathering pace with the two sides set to collide next weekend in the FA Cup.
