The former Peterborough man had been in fine form for North End until a hamstring injury ruled him out of the last two matches.[LNB]Yet Deepdale boss Darren Ferguson is confident the Scot will be available to face Neil Warnock's men.[LNB]However, Coutts may be forced to settle for a place on the bench after a fine return to the starting line-up by Darren Carter in Tuesday's match at Middlesbrough.[LNB]Preston lost 2-0 but dominated the match for long periods as Carter, Matt James and Richard Chaplow all impressed in midfield.[LNB]Ferguson could again be without defender Youl Mawene (groin) and rookie midfielder Danny Mayor (hamstring).[LNB][LNB][LNB]
