Cort To Stay
Preston have agreed an extension to the loan of Leon Cort until the end of the season which will be a relief to Phil Brown. Cort's loan has already been extended previously and had expired again after the Middlesbrough game but with Preston short at the back, Brown was looking to keep Cort. The Burnley centre back has started five games for the club and will remain for the rest of the season but he will not be able to play against his parent club on 26 February at Deepdale.
