Cort Stay Approved

31 December 2010 18:06
Preston and Burnley have come to an agreement that will see Leon Cort stay at Preston until 23 January. It was thought that negotiations had taken place earlier in the week as Cort's loan had ended after the Middlesborough game. Preston had wanted to extend the defender's loan but due to managerial exits at both clubs nothing was ever confirmed until now. It is good news for Preston on a day when the Premiership big boys decided to pull the rug somehwat unfairly as Ferguson Snr recalled two loan players immediately with the third to follow whilst bum chum Tony Pullis for no apparent reason decided to recall his two loan players to Stoke. I am sure that De Laet, KIng, James, Pugh and Tonge will be thurst into their respective starting elevens this weekend to take full advantage of their recalls a full seven days ahead of schedule.
