Cort May Make Permanent Switch

BUrnley boss Brian Laws has hinted that several players could be leaving Burnley this January transfer window and it doesn't take a genius to work out that Leon Cort may well be one of those to go. Cort was set to return to Burnley after a one month loan deal but this has been extended into January to cover what was thought to be the bust festive period but has actually turned out to be a white out. The big man has slotted in well at the back alongside Wayne Brown but North End would not be able to get anywhere near the £1.5 million that Burnley shelled out for the defender last season. Preston may well off load St Ledger whilst they can as there has been interest from other clubs as the Whites look to offload their debt whilst maintaining a healthy squad.
