Chris is Brown and out

Preston boss Phil Brown could again be without striker Chris Brown and defender Sean St Ledger ahead of his in-form side's trip to Reading. Both men are nursing injuries which forced them to miss Saturday's 2-1 home win over Swansea and will be assessed. On-loan Tottenham defender Bongani Khumalo took St Ledger's place in defence against the Swans, with Barry Nicholson replacing Brown and starting in an advanced midfield role behind Iain Hume. North End boss Brown will be reluctant to make any changes after his side's impressive performance which lifted them off the foot of the table and secured a third straight win. Brown said: "There was a 100% buy-in by everyone in the squad - the 11 who started, the three subs who came on and the four left on the bench."
