Chorley Share Spoils

Gary Flitcroft said before the match with Preston that this was possibly the closest Chorley would get to beating Preston in the past few years but they managed a draw against their League counterparts.

Preston plating in pink opted for two separate teams in each half as they had done at Southport on Saturday.

As the squad is so small the team was made up of several trialist including Lee Trunlde who scored first for Preston. Kilheeney equalised before the break as CHorley to home a share of the Jack Kirkland Trophy.
