The Whites kicked off their pre-season with a win over local non-league side Chorley as they prepare for the big kick off in a month's time. Brown fielded a strong outfit in the first half with Mellor pairing captain Hume up front but reverted to a youth team line-up in the second half. For the record Iain Hume scored int he first half whilst youngster Jamie Proctore netted in the second.
