Chilvers shores up PNE rearguard
Mawene sustained a hamstring injury in last weekend's 1-1 draw at Doncaster and was replaced by Chilvers, who stood in from the start in Tuesday's 3-0 win at Barnsley.[LNB]Irvine shuffled his pack for the Oakwell clash, making five changes, and hinted such a rotation policy could become commonplace as long as the majority of the squad stay fit.[LNB]Chilvers, Neil Mellor, Jon Parkin, Veliche Shumulikoski and Darren Carter all came into the starting line-up and will hope to retain their places.[LNB]Irvine admitted he has a number of welcome selection dilemmas but defender Neal Trotman will not be involved after he joined League One outfit Southampton on loan until January 3.[LNB][LNB]
