Chilvers Joins Notts County
Liam Chilvers who left Preston after his contract expired at the end of last season will join League One outfit Notts County. The central defender was released at the end of his contract but boss Darren Ferguson was confident that Chilvers would pick up a club easily before the start of the new season. Chilvers did go to Peterborough on loan and having spent much of his career down in the south east at Arsenal and Colchester it was believed he may have been signing for Peterborough but a deal has been struck with Notts County.
